Listing of the Indus River Dolphin as an Endangered Species
Summary
The Service is adding the Indus River dolphin (Platonista minor) to the List of Endangered and Threatened Wildlife. This measure, required by section 4(a)(b) of the Endangered Species Act of 1973 corresponds with the final determination of endangered status published in the Federal Register of December 11, 1990, by the NOAA Fisheries, which has jurisdiction for the Indus River dolphin.
